Mountain Bike Clinics:

Bike Fit & Basics
You have to start somewhere, and this is a great starting point! Learn proper bike set up and receive guidance on bike fit, suspension setup and optimizing bike performance for your riding style. We will cover basics like body positioning, gear shifting, drop seat and braking techniques. We will also discuss group riding etiquette, trail communication, safety and trail etiquette for riding in groups or solo riding.

Cornering with Confidence
Mastering cornering is key to tackling trails with confidence on your mountain bike. Learn to lean your bike into turns while keeping your body centered and your eyes focused on the exit. Use your outside foot to weight the pedals and maintain traction, and remember to brake before the turn, not during it. With practice and proper technique, you’ll carve through corners like a pro; unlocking a new level of excitement and control on the trails.

Climbing & Shifting
Ascending trails efficiently and mastering gear shifts are essential skills for every rider. In this clinic, you’ll learn how to optimize your body position for climbing, use your gears effectively to maintain momentum, and tackle steep inclines with gusto. Our experienced instructor will provide personalized guidance and hands-on demonstrations to help you conquer climbs and improve your overall trail performance. Join us and elevate your mountain biking experience to new heights!

Braking & Downhill
What goes up, must come down! Descending trails requires skillful control and precise braking. In this clinic, you’ll learn how to modulate your brakes effectively, distribute your weight for stability, and navigate technical descents with confidence. Our experienced instructor will teach you how to choose the best line, maintain traction, and safely negotiate obstacles at speed. Join us for an exhilarating session that will enhance your downhill prowess and boost your trail-riding confidence!

Basic Bike Maintenance
We will cover basic bike maintenance and trailside repairs to keep your ride a smooth one!

Upon RSVP, your member account will be charged the $20 clinic fee to hold your spot. If you need to cancel after that time and there is a waitlist, we will hold a credit to be applied to another clinic. Guests are welcome to attend with members. We will need your height to reserve a Frost Creek full suspension bike or you may bring your own bike.
