Winter Activities
Frost Creek winter activities are for members and cabin guests, only. We appreciate your understanding that we are not having other guests at this time. Our winter gear is provided for your use at the pool house on a first-come, first served basis. Know that there are not multiples of all of the sizes, so if you have a family of size 6 feet, you might be taking turns with gear or sizing up/down. Feel free to bring your own gear to use.
You’ll find figure skates, hockey skates and snowshoes in the pool house now. The nordic gear will be available when the conditions are ripe for cross country skiing. The cart path has a first pass to mat down the snow, but we still need a good 5-6″ packed base before we make the gear available for skiing. If you don’t have the door code, please request from the person covering the clubhouse 10am to 4pm. The door code is for members only.
(Please keep your pet outside of the pool house.)
When you arrive, make sure the pool house is empty before entering. We are requiring that only one household enters at a time, collects gear and moves along to have fun. Please return all gear and sanitize before returning to the appropriate shelving. Your patience and cooperation is appreciated by all!
Hot Tub
The hot tub is available by reservation only via the club website or app under “tee times”. Reservations are for one household at a time. Please remove the cover before use and replace immediately after use. Bring your own towel. No showers available at the pool house.
Ice Rink
The ice rink is located on the tennis court. The skates can be found in the pool house. Please grab a pair of skates, head to the rink and put the skates on at the rink. Do not walk with skate blades on the concrete or tiles floors. Sanitize skates after use with the spray and paper towels provided in the pool house.
Snowshoeing
We have snowshoes for the entire family at the pool house. Please make sure there is a good base of snow for snowshoeing so you are not scraping the metal spikes on the concrete. Open fairways like hole #10 are perfect right now. The cart path needs a deeper base of snow- hopefully coming soon! Sanitize snowshoes after use with the spray and paper towels provided in the pool house.
Sledding
The sleds can be found in a large bin at the top of the sledding hill (driving range). Please return the sleds after use and replace the top of the bin securely so the sleds are covered. Sorry, but no pets are allowed at the sledding hill.
Nordic Skiing – TBD
The cart path has a first pass of grooming, but is not ready for cross country skiing. We still need a good 5-6″ packed down base before we get out the gear. We will announce when it is ready.
Fitness Room
The fitness room is available by reservation only for one household at a time. Reservation times start at 5am and go until 8pm for a 50 minute reservation. Please reserve on the club website or app under “tee times”. You will receive an email confirmation with the door code to the after-hours door. During clubhouse hours, please enter through main clubhouse doors. Please pay attention to the time so you have time to sanitize any equipment you touched and vacate the room at 10 minutes to the hour for the next reservation.
Where Can Fido Play?
Pets are now allowed on the front 9 and back 9 of the cart path. Please keep your pet on a leash and kindly clean up and dispose of your pet’s waste…your fellow members thank you!
